Connected

A Retreat for Deep Self-Trust & Brave Collective Curiosity

Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa | August 6–9, 2026

THE VISION

This is a co-ed retreat for men and women who are already doing their inner work—but still find that connection can feel effortful, unclear, or inconsistent.

You might be self-aware.
You might communicate well.
And still, in certain moments, something shifts
you hold back, overthink, or leave yourself in the interaction.

This weekend is designed to work at that level.

Through somatic, relational, and embodied practices, you’ll not only understand connection more clearly—you’ll experience what it feels like to stay connected to yourself while being in connection with others.

From that place, conversations become more honest.
Boundaries become more natural.
And connection starts to feel more real, steady, and easeful.

THE SECURE LOVE SOUL METHOD

Your Foundation for Unshakeable Connection

Everything we do is grounded in the Secure Love Soul Method — a somatic, trauma-informed approach to building secure attachment from the inside out.

This isn’t mindset fluff.
This is nervous-system-deep.

You’ll work through the body — breath, movement, regulation, embodied boundary-setting — so you don’t just understand self-trust…

You feel it.

When your body knows it’s safe to be you?
Everything shifts.

Your friendships deepen.
Your romantic connections become more honest.
Your collaborations feel aligned.
Your “no” gets cleaner.
Your “yes” gets hotter.

When you upgrade your relationship with yourself, you upgrade every relationship in your life.

Meet The Facilitators

Erin Berry

Erin Berry is a relationship and intimacy coach who supports individuals and couples in breaking free from the patterns that keep them stuck in disconnection, miscommunication, and unmet needs. Her work is centered on helping people experience what secure, connected relationships actually feel like—not just understand them intellectually.

Rooted in somatic work and nervous system awareness, Erin guides clients to recognize how their bodies respond in moments of closeness, conflict, and vulnerability. By working directly with these responses, she helps create lasting shifts toward safety, openness, and deeper intimacy.

She is the creator of the Secure Love Soul Method—a body-based approach where nervous system healing meets relational truth, helping individuals and couples move out of survival patterns and into secure, grounded, deeply connected love.

Erin brings a direct, compassionate, and deeply present approach—meeting people where they are while gently challenging the habits that keep them guarded or disconnected in relationships.

In this retreat, Erin leads the relational experiences—guiding participants through real-time connection, communication, and interaction so they can explore new ways of relating while staying anchored in themselves. Her work bridges the gap between insight and lived experience, making connection something tangible, not just something we talk about.

Her approach is shaped by her own journey of moving from disconnected, unfulfilling relationships into a life rooted in self-trust, deep intimacy, and embodied connection.

Wakenda Roske

Wakenda is an intuitive guide who supports people through moments of change, helping them see and understand the patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others.

With over 30 years of experience in clairvoyance, energy healing, and embodied practice, her work focuses on reconnecting people to their own inner guidance—especially in moments where they would normally override, second-guess, or lose themselves in connection.

She brings a grounded, honest presence that helps people recognize what’s actually happening beneath the surface, so they can respond in a way that feels more aligned, steady, and true.

In this retreat, Wakenda supports the deeper integration of the work—helping participants stay connected to themselves while engaging with others, so that connection becomes more real, sustainable, and self-trusting.

She is the creator of The Rose Key Path, a body of work centered on self-trust, embodied awareness, and returning to one’s own inner authority.

Together, Erin and Wakenda create an environment where inner awareness meets real-time connection—blending somatic, relational work with intuitive, energetic awareness so participants can stay connected to themselves while experiencing deeper, more authentic connection with others.

The Experience

Gender-Specific Deep Work

This is where you go inward.

Men and women will alternate sessions so everyone gets prime energy space.
This is embodied transformation.

You’ll explore:

  • Attachment patterns

  • Emotional triggers

  • Nervous system regulation in connection

  • Self-trust

  • Embodied boundaries, how do we stay within ourselves in a world that is constantly tugging at them

You won’t just learn it.
You’ll practice it in your body.

And something powerful happens when you do this work alongside others walking the same edge.

Co-Ed Sessions: The Curiosity Playground

Every day, we come together.

This is where it gets alive.

You’ll practice:

  • Real-time communication

  • Perspective-swapping

  • Safe embodied connection

  • Brave listening

  • Desire without agenda

  • Curiosity without control

This is a collaborative safe place that creates a level playing field between men and women to practice healthy communication….

Just humans choosing to understand how someone else experiences the world.

Imagine being in a space where you can say:

“Tell me more about that.”

And actually mean it.

This is where assumptions dissolve.
This is where empathy expands.
This is where the magic ignites.

Everything in this weekend is designed to help you feel—not just think—your way into transformation.

This retreat is held by two facilitators with a shared foundation in somatic and relational work.

While much of the approach overlaps, each brings a distinct way of seeing and working in the moment.

Together, this creates a more supported experience—where the work can land in different ways, often deepening both understanding and integration.

Participants are not guided from just one perspective, but held within a more complete field of support throughout the weekend.

THE SANCTUARY

We’ll gather at Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa, nestled in Colorado’s breathtaking San Luis Valley.

Natural mineral pools.
Hot tubs. Cold plunge. Dry sauna.
A greenhouse dome. A Chartres labyrinth replica. Meditation Hill.
Mountain views that crack your heart open.

You’ll unplug.
You’ll soak.
You’ll remember what spaciousness feels like.

FAQ

Is this a dating retreat?

No. This is a growth retreat that happens to bring men and women into the same room — which, honestly, is rare and powerful on its own.

You're not here to find a partner. You're here to finally understand each other. What people do with that after is up to them.

Who is this for?

People who are curious, self-aware, and done with surface-level everything. You've probably done some inner work already. You're not looking for a lecture — you're looking for a real experience.

You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to show up openly.

Do I need to be single?

Not at all. Single, dating, partnered, married — all welcome. This work touches every relationship in your life, not just romantic ones.

What actually happens during the retreat?

This is experiential — meaning you won't just sit and listen. You'll move through guided exercises, real conversations between men and women, and practices designed to help you feel the shift, not just understand it intellectually.

It's four days of things you won't find in a book.

Is anything forced or uncomfortable?

Nothing is ever forced. Everything is invitation-based and consent-driven.

That said — growth lives at the edge of your comfort zone, not outside it. You'll be supported every step of the way in an environment that feels genuinely safe.

What makes this different from other workshops?

Most spaces either stay in your head — talking about relationships — or they only work with one gender at a time.

CONNECTED puts men and women in the room together, in real time, trading assumption for curiosity. You stop theorizing about the opposite sex and start actually experiencing them differently. That's where the soft spot grows. That's where things shift.

What results can I expect?

Everyone's experience is their own — but what people consistently leave with is this: a deeper understanding of the opposite sex, more ease in how they show up, and a genuine warmth for the other side they didn't expect to feel so quickly.

The biggest shift? You stop guessing. You start understanding.

Is this retreat right for me?

Ask yourself: Am I curious about the opposite sex — not frustrated, not resigned, but genuinely curious? Do I want to feel more at ease, more alive, more open in how I relate?

If yes — you'll likely feel at home here.
